Aktuální nabídka stipendií DAAD na akademický rok 2011/2012 bude zveřejněna počátkem září 2010 na našich internetých stránkách zde.
Sársko ruší poplatky za studium
Spolková země Sársko zrušila s účinností od letního semestru 2010 studijní poplatky ve výši 300 resp. 500 € za semestr. 10. února 2010 o tom rozhodl místní zemský sněm. Zahraničním stipendistům DAAD, kteří navštěvují nějakou sárskou vysokou školu, tedy od letního semestru 2010 již nevzniká povinnost platit studijní poplatky.

Evropská stipendia pro žurnalisty na Svobodné univerzitě v Berlíně umožňují novinářům realizovat v průběhu dvousemestrálního studijního stipendia větší rešeršní projekt nezávisle na každodenní publicistické praxi. O stipendia na příští rok se právě nyní mohou ucházet žurnalisti z celé Evropy a USA.

Berlin Mathematical School - Summer School 2010
We are inviting interested graduate students in mathematics to our Summer School on „Discretization in Geometry and Dynamics“, which will take place in Berlin from September 20 - October 1, 2010 at TU Berlin. The summer school will give an introduction to Discretization in Geometry and Dynamics and explore the latest developments. Topics range from integrable discretizations, polyhedra and tilings to symplectic and variational integrators, discretization artefacts and applications. It is aimed at graduate students in mathematics. Furthermore, postdocs and junior faculty are encouraged to attend.
Online registration is now ongoing until 30 June 2010. Applications have to include a letter of interest, CV and one recommendation letter. The BMS offers subsidiary financial support to selected participants to cover travel and accomodation costs.

3-year PhD Scholarships of the DFG-funded Research Training Group 1172 “Biologicals” and the Dr. Hans Kröner Graduiertenkolleg “Eicosanoid and sphingolipid signalling pathways in inflammation, cancer and vascular diseases”
The PhD positions are available in the areas of inflammation & pain, cardiovascular biology, cancer and biopharmaceutical drugs and comprise a large number of different techniques employed in the biomedical research fields. In addition to the lab work, the structured PhD programme includes courses and workshops.
All PhD positions are embedded in the GRADE Graduate Centre FIRST BioMed (Frankfurt International Research School for Translational Biomedicine) of the Goethe Graduate Academy (GRADE). FIRST provides postgraduate education in all aspects of translational biomedicine with a focus on the processes involved in drug research and development. Candidates should already possess an excellent MSc (biology, pharmacy or related discipline) or an MD degree. Applications consisting of

Starting dates vary according to the projects. Stipends will be paid according to the pay scales recommended by the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft).
Stipendia Institutu Georga Eckerta pro mezinárodní výzkum učebnic
Institut Georga Eckerta pro mezinárodní výzkum učebnic (Georg-Eckert-Institut für internationale Schulbuchforschung, GEI) se zabývá mezinárodním srovnáváním interpretačních vzorců a konceptů využívaných při hledání orientace a identity, které prezentují vzdělávací systémy a instituce v jednotlivých zemích. Stipendia Institutu Georga Eckerta nabízejí mladým i zavedeným vědcům a autorům učebnic možnost pracovat s knihovním fondem institutu, realizovat srovnávací studie a podělit se o profesní zkušenosti s kolegy ze zahraničí. Stipendia jsou udělována na dobu čtyř až šesti týdnů. Žádosti lze zasílat průběžně během roku. Badatelé, kteří chtějí stipendijní pobyt uskutečnit v následujícím roce, by však měli svou žádost zaslat nejpozději do poloviny září roku předchozího.
Nové metodické přístupy v rámci mezinárodního výzkumu učebnic podpuruje GEI také prostřednictvím stipendia Otty Bennemanna (Otto-Bennemann-Stipendium) a dále vypisuje jednou za čtyři roky stipendium Roberta Hermanna-Tenbrocka (Robert-Hermann-Tenbrock-Stipendium). Institut dále nabízí možnost nehonorované pracovní stáže.

Centrum pro východní Evropu na Justus-Liebig univerzitě v Gießen nabízí masterský studijní program „Interdisciplinární studia pro východní Evropu". Studijní program připravuje studenty se specializací na východní Evropu v oblasti politické, právní, hospodářské a kulturní. Studenti se učí profesionální analýze a zhodnocení souvislostí v regionu východní Evropy.
Tento masterský studijní program charakterizuje:
uvedení do problematiky výzkumu zemí východní Evropy hned na počátku studia

Double degree programme in European Studies (Kaliningrad/Wuppertal) 2010/11
Till July 20th, graduates from all disciplines and all countries can apply for the postgraduate programme in European Studies, term 2010/2011, organised by the Kaliningrad European Institute Klaus Mehnert. The course is currently the only study programme in European Studies taught in German in Russia and offers its graduates two degrees in one year: a Russian diploma and a German Master of Arts.
The best graduates from each year receive the Willy Brandt Award of the Socialist Group (PSE) in the European Parliament and complete a one-month internship in Brussels and Strasbourg.
The study year in Kaliningrad starts 20th of September, 2010.
