DAAD Lektors

The DAAD places lecturers at foreign universities. Most of them teach German at faculties of philosophy and pedagogy, but some lecturers also teach in other fields, e.g. law, economics, history, etc. Teaching assistants are also placed at some universities. An important part of the work of the Lektors is to provide information in their respective regions about study and research opportunities in Germany as well as about the scholarship offers of the DAAD. DAAD Lektors are also qualified to prepare language certificates, which are required for applications to a number of DAAD scholarship programs.
